SURF
What is SURF and what does it stand for?
SURF stands for Service User Reference Forum.  It is a group of service users who meet to discuss issues and developments in TQtwentyone and the Trust.
What does the group do?
The service users give their views and influence developments in policies, procedures and practice. The group has contributed to the development of service user involvement in
  • Staff training and development
  • Recruitment of new staff both in the service andTrust wide
  • Development of guidelines for staff
  • Assisting in developing questions for the annual service user survey
Over the last year the SURF group has
  • Discussed and approved the TQtwentyone Service User Involvement Policy 
  • Agreed the new logo and brand for TQtwentyone
  • Discussed the National Census
  • Discussed the process for voting in elections
  • Discussed the Essential Standards for Quality and Safety
  • Evaluated the TQtwentyone annual service user surveys
  • Had a presentation from the local council about recycling
When does the group meet?
The group meet on a bi-monthly basis.  Below are a list of dates for 2012

Who can attend?
Anyone who is supported by TQtwentyone can attend the SURF meeting.
