We have an experienced, well trained and highly motivated workforce. Our teams work hard to empower and support service users to be in control of their lives, express their wishes, dreams and aspirations and achieve the life they wish by using flexible, creative, solutions.
We practice robust recruitment procedures, including the meaningful involvement of service users and carers. Our recruitment process ensures staff are safe to practice, share the Trust's RESPECT values and have the personal skills, attributes and vision to enhance the lives of service users.

What happens when staff are appointed?
TQ21 staff undertake a comprehensive Induction course, in house and on line. Front-line staff also complete the Skills for Care Induction Qualification before their probation period is confirmed.
Once a new member of staff has successfully completed their probation period, their on-going training requirements are directly linked to the personalised support plans of individual service users they support, as well as statutory and mandatory training requirements.
